Organic Egyptian Blue Lotus

$16.00

Blue Lotus also known as Nymphaea Caerulea is a highly regarded plant known for its numerous health benefits. It is rich in antioxidants and nutrients that have been valued by civilizations throughout history, including the Ancient Egyptians. They used Blue Lotus for its visionary properties, enhancing intuition and dream experiences.

The Ancient Egyptians consumed Blue Lotus by smoking dried flowers in pipes and brewing them as tea. They also utilized it for various purposes like steaming, smudging, making perfumes, and medicines.

Some benefits of Blue Lotus include relieving menstrual problems, acting as an aphrodisiac, reducing stress and anxiety, providing natural pain relief, and possessing anti-diabetic properties. However, caution is advised for individuals taking anti-diabetes medication, pregnant women, and those with specific allergies or on other medications.

Directions for use:

To make Blue Lotus tea, brew 1-3 flowers in water until boiling, then simmer for 3 minutes on low heat. Alternatively, steep the flowers in boiling water in a teapot or large cup, drinking the full cup and refilling with boiling water 2-3 times. One flower typically yields 2-3 cups of tea.

For smoking, crush three soft petals and add them to a pipe or sprinkle them over rolling papers. Blue Lotus can also be used for steaming by adding the whole flowers during a bath.

Each bag of Blue Lotus contains approximately 10 grams and 5-10 dried flowers. It is organically grown in Sri Lanka without chemicals or pesticides. We recommended storing in a dry, dark place away from direct sunlight, each bag has a shelf life of two years.
